Corporate Impact Awards Recognize Companies' $1 Million-Plus Annual Gifts to American Cancer Society
The American Cancer Society's nationwide Corporate Impact Awards were presented on November 19, 2009, to 16 corporations during the organization's 96th Annual Meeting in Los Angeles, California. The awards recognize the financial and in-kind contributions of $1 million or more made by businesses and their employees during the past calendar year. These donations help the American Cancer Society to save lives and create a world with less cancer and more birthdays by helping people stay well, helping people get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back against cancer.
